My dearest husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in mid March, Gleason score of 9, with pelvic bone mets, grade T4, M1, N1, I think. 15 months previously he had green laser and turp, had enlarged prostate, but biopsy was clear. He has suffered previously with heart problems, has multiple stents but no problems since 2007. After diagnosis of cancer he has been treated with hormone injections and Apalutamide. And has had 5 weeks of daily radiotherapy. His PSA is now 0.04. But, on 9 November he developed a boil like sore on his penal glans together with extremely sore scrotum. He was seen by GPs and a sister who thought fungal infection and prescribed fungal cream and antibiotics. Unfortunately a further sore developed a couple of weeks ago and was told by GP to see oncologist asap. A week ago he became very breathless and last Monday was admitted to the cancer unit with bronchial pneumonia. He’s still in hospital and had a MRI yesterday. He was told today that the scan showed cancer on the penis and will have radiotherapy starting Monday. Is there anyone on here who has had anything lik this?
