Hair Loss and Regrowth While Having Chemotherapy

Hi all, my husband is on round 4 of docetaxel and his hair has not fallen out. He found that after the first round his hair started to come out but since then nothing more. We are worried that as hair loss is one of the common side effects of docetaxel is the chemotherapy working? Has anyone had the same and all been ok?

As regards side effects, we are all different, my hair fell out then regrew, so don’t worry his PSA will tell you all about how well the chemotherapy is working.

Hi Joe , thank you for the reply,

Unfortunately my husband is non secreting so doesn’t show in regards to psa, we won’t know if chemo and hormones working until after chemo finishes and scans done.

Normally they take bloods to make sure his pallets are fine, I just cannot remember if PSA is taken as well, been over six years since I had it done.
