Afternoon

I met my oncologist last week for the results of my PET scan.

The canver has returned to my shoulder blade.  I have had radiotherapy on this exact location 2 years ago. Because of this he said i cant have radiotherapy again and therefore its now stage 4 terminal. Does anyone have any vies on this or suggestions on alternative treatment.  He has put me on hormone therapy.

Thanks

David

  • Hi David.

I'm sorry to hear of your recurrence and I know of others who have had the same problem. Radiotherapy can only be given once to any particular part of the body and hormone treatment is the standard Plan B. I hope it works for you.
