Hello.
I'm new to this. I'm 71 and was diagnosed in February 2021. Gleeson 9, PSA 729, now 0.04 thanks to Prostep, Enzalutimide and radio therapy. I feel very lucky.
I've joined a local Prostrate Cancer support group but all of the members are at stage 2 or 3, have had operations and are now struggling with catheters and ED (that ship sailed long ago for me due to the treatment). I'd appreciate sharing experiences with people on the same course of treatment as myself.
Thanks.
Hello, sorry to hear of your diagnosis PR, I have been on enzalutimide for around 12 months now and some people on here much longer. It's not without its side effects as is HT but if you respond to the treatments they really are fantastic. Have a read of people's profiles for their journeys so far, click on the members name. From there you can private message people, I'm always free for a chat. Also there is a thread titled enzalutimide on here which has lots of users opinions and advice. Take care
Regards
Paul
