Hello
I have my prostrate biopsy about 10 days ago and still awaiting the results. My spa was 10 at the time.
I have had sex a couple of times since then and found that instead of semen, there is a dark brown liquid. I assume it’s blood? But it’s not red like blood if you know what I mean.
I’m a bit worried that perhaps some damage was done during my biopsy
regards
Hi . Yes, it's blood. It is perfectly normal after a biopsy and may continue for some weeks. It should gradually reduce but, if it doesn't, then you should contact your oncology team.
