Bone scan querie.

Hello all, I have recently been given a date for a bone scan. Will I be able to drive afterwards? I know it’s a daft question but I need to organise transport if I am unable to drive. Thank you in advance. Take care everyone.

Morning Tim, I had my bone scan last August and was a 40 mile round trip. There was no issues with driving.

Hi Tim

No problem at all!

The only time I didn't drive was after Chemotherapy, and even then, my wife only drove in case I felt a bit ill.

Hi Joe, it’s the type where you have a radioactive injection which will show if the cancer has spread. Thanks for your help. Take care. Tim

Hi Tim,

I had the same last year. After the injection I had to go home for 2 hours to allow for the radioactive solution to circulate my body. Luckily enough the hospital that I went to was only 2 miles away from my home.
So you may want to take a book to read.
