Had psa of 549 and gleeson at 9+ and after mri last week had phone appointment with oncologist for next week. This has been changed to phone call with
radiolotherapy review team. It struck me that this doesn't sound promising. Can anybody shine any light?? gerry.
Hi Gerry
Guess covid changes everything!
I had a meeting with an oncologist, at the start of my journey ( Registrar), in 2019. From that point onwards, the RT team took control. I only hear from the Consultants team ( Cancer Nurse Specialist) annually, after a blood test.
So your position sounds OK to me!
Regards
Stuart
Thanks for input. Put my mind at rest a bit. Hopefully have an update tuesday

Like people have said try not to worry and think the worst, I know it is hard. I had a similar diagnosis in march 21 and that happened to me, it was just to start radio therapy to my spine straight away before other treatments. Good luck
Regards
Paul
