After a very nervous few days, flowing my appointment being brought forward, I have had my results.

I have aggressive prostrate T3B and a Gleason score of 10. However, the good news it has not spread and so curable. I have immediately been put on hormone tablets with injections to follow. Once the prostrate has shrunk I will have radio therapy at Sheffield.

I have never heard of anyone with a Gleason score of ten, who did not have mets ( means it broke out the prostate ? ) but all good to you if that’s right, keep going with the good news.

Its a pleasure read of someone who managed to catch this thing in time. I'm like many who should have gone to the doctor during lockdown before it spread. Good luck and well done.

Great news -my dads score is 9 with extensive spread but still deemed treatable and he’s no longer in pain which ar 90 o deem a blessing
