Hello everyone. Here’s my story. I am 39 yrs old and I started spotting between periods about 5 months ago, only a few days a month. A few months later mild cramping started when not on my period. I made a gyno appt and had a Pap test done. I bled so much the Dr was concerned and she had to put medicine on my cervix to stop the bleeding and was talking about a colposcopy and biopsy. It hurt to just have her touch my cervix with the qtip. I have never bled nor was sensitive during a Pap test before. Pap came back negative and HPV negative so the Dr blew it off and said maybe hormones made a friable cervix. A month goes by and my bleeding and cramping was worse. I begged for a colposcopy but she wanted to put me on birth control pills first. A few more weeks go by and I was miserable. Shooting pain cramping, felt sore to touch around my pelvic lymph nodes even. I felt like something was attacking my cervix. I felt like inflammation was causing an urgency to pee. Did the colposcopy and biopsy and ECC and only thing that showed up was inflammation, cervix didn’t feel Iirritated like it did with the pap. Requested a pelvic MRI. Nothing but possible beginning stage of adenomyosis. Ultrasound didn’t show anything. I still have random mild cramps, spotting, and a heavy pressure feeling. I have the feeling of acid reflux with a super full stomach where I am so uncomfortable my ribs even get sore because it feels as if I’m breathing funny due to fullness. In no way is this hormones. I’ve had this full feeling for months and it’s quite miserable. I’m going to talk to my gp and try to request more testing because I do not feel well. Can you ladies please tell me what were your symptoms and how were you diagnosed? I need all the help I can get. Thank you!!!!
Hi
I am past menopause but I had a feeling of pressure and discomfort in my pelvic area bowel and bladder playing up like you I we t to doctors
over a period of time were doing various tests all coming back normal
Felt as if I was a hypochondriac then a doctor I we to see did a
CA125 blood test which is a cancer antigen test my results came
Back with a reading of 4277 a normal reading would be 35
I would suggest to your doctor that you have this test done to rule it
out
i hope this helps you and feel free to ask any questions
