Hi , my husband has multiple areas of cancer including peritoneal. Food tends to cause a lot of pain and discomfort and the doctor has recommended an “easy to digest “ diet, no other restrictions. Was wondering if anyone in this group has similar experience or suggestions as to what to eat.
Hello Lalala123
I hope you don't mind me replying as I had a different type of cancer to your husband however I did have to follow an easy to digest diet during my radiotherapy treatment. This was due to the side effects from the treatment and was on the doctors advice. I found in particular anything with fibre would upset my system. This link is similar to what was recommended for me and it may be worth asking whether it would be worth trying for your husband.

Hope this helps. If you would like a little more information, perhaps give the Support Line a call and speak to one of the nurses.
