Penile cancer stage 3

This is my first time on this forum, apart from the reply I sent to CancerFighrer25.

In June 2024 I was diagnosed with Penile cancer. I had full radial circumcision, then had an appointment for a lymph node biopsy in November 2024. Unfortunately I had already developed a lump on the left side lymph node so the surgeon decided that they had to be removed. The pathology report found that 17/20 were positive.

Last week I started a 5 week program of chemoRadiotherapy which will be followed by a program of Chemotherapy.

My Oncologist says I have a 9 month fight ahead of me but the fight goes on. 3 years ago I beat lung cancer so I will BEAT this one.

Good luck to everyone going through any cancer fights

  • You certainly have the right attitude to fight this cancer and hopefully in 9 months you can say I have beaten both lung cancer and penile cancer.

It will be a long journey but the fight will be worth it so just put up with everything that is thrown at you and you hopefully will be cancer free.

Please up date me on your progress after the 5 weeks of chemo radiotherapy.

  • Hi bloggerbill, totally agree with Robert, you definitely sound like you have the fight in you for this, I know what it takes out of you with my journey,  diagnosed November 22, operation late November, lymph node February 23, total penectomy september 23, to be told in November 23, it had spread to my lungs stage 4, given 12 months, started chemo and immunotherapy on trial, which is keeping the cancer at bay atm, so have had a long fight which I intend on keep fighting for as long as possible. So do know the importance on fighting, as Robert said keep us informed of your progress,  it does help other people realise that with right attitude and fight cancer is controllable or beatable. Best of luck with your treatment William
