My advice is, if you have any concerns, go see your GP. Don’t be put off by creams; insist on being referred. If this was treated years ago, it would have been a different story. I know men can be bashful about showing their penis to strangers, but seriously, don’t be.

Totally agree about overcoming the shyness, and easier said than done, but have to say after that initial appointment with the GP I felt a huge sense of relief knowing that someone will help and I did get a referral, please don’t leave it too long, the sooner you ask for help, the better it is. Strangely I have lost count of the nurses and consultants in hospital that now looked at my shorter penis whilst all of them were caring and empathetic to what’s happened, definitely helps.
