Hello all. I just wanted to share my news with you.

I have been updating you on my journey through penile cancer and lymph node removal.

I completed the 5 weeks of chemoRadiotherapy. That was very rough.

I then went for a full body CT scan. I went to St George's hospital last Monday for the results. Unfortunately my cancer has spread and has been upgraded to Stage 4. As many of you know, Stage 4 means it's terminal.

So, my next flight begins. I have been told that I have to stay as fit and strong as I can because I can only prolong the end of I can get through the chemo that starts next week.

I WILL FIGHT THIS!! But any support from you guys on this forum will help enourmously.

  • Sorry to hear this Bill , I’ve followed your posts and as I read this I was hoping your chemo /radio would have had a positive impact . Has it gone to your pelvis ? lungs etc ? Will this be your 2nd or 3rd chemo ?  I’m still lumbering along in stage 3 hoping for miracles . Keeping as fit and strong is vital I find , and you’re gonna need to dig deep ( again ) Keep us updated and the best of luck to you in your fight . I find it like war we know we’ll likely ultimately lose ,BUT we can keep winning battles big and small .

  • Hi

Sorry to hear your news, as I am in similar position to you, was told my cancer had spread to my lungs was stage 4 incurable,  was offered chemo, and trial immunotherapy, which has shrunk the masses on my lungs. Now been 16 months, It sounds like you have the right attitude to stay positive and fight to prolong the end.

    All the best William
