In my sixties years old and was suggested before Christmas 2025 that I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer as I was jaundice and had a gall bladder stent inserted which thankfully cleared me up however the cancer had prevented the release of bile etc due to the pancreatic head being squeezed by the cancer and their conclusion was if it looks like a duck etc but maybe chance the thing maybe something else?
now after 2 months of tests being transferred to Newcastle hospital and going through an exhaustive number of scans. MRI X-rays biopsies etc the view now is - am I fit enough to undergo surgery to remove the cxx ?cancer ? or will they treat the cxx? cancer? with chemotherapy or whatever radiotherapy etc
However the waiting for the biopsy coming back has been a week since the second shot was carried out and still expected to be another week is excruciating and sending me to silly thoughts-
Being self employed a stint into hospital to have the “Wipel” ? procedure carried out over 10 to 20 working days will cause all of any money I have earned to disappear
meaning we rent the house we are living in - meaning the landlord won’t be overly happy if he is not paid ? - meaning we will have to look to sell whatever we have with still not much chance of paying what’s due
not sure what to do really
