Hi all
i have been told my cancer hasn’t spread (PET scan) so all set for neo adjuvant FOLFIRINOX and if I’m lucky a Whipple procedure.
my first oncology appointment is on Wednesday. Any tips or advice on the chemo and things I should be aware of? Anything I can do before treatment starts to help?
I had breast cancer 5 years ago but had surgery and radio. This cancer feels very different.
thanks
Hello Foodlover
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan. I have just noticed you post has gone unanswered, I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying, it will be "bumped" up to the top of the page and I hope you receive some replies from other group members.
As it's Wednesday I hope your oncology appointment goes well and I wish you well going forward.
Best wishes - Brian.
