Hi there, diagnosed early December and having an endoscopy biopsy tomorrow to inform my treatment plan. It's all a bit overwhelming as well to understand all the medical terminology, medication, symptoms, diet etc

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I haven't had the same type of cancer as you, I certainly know how overwhelming it can all seem.

Although I'm not a member of this group I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

  • Hi Anrobiter, I’m sorry to hear of your diagnoses. I myself haven’t had cancer but but went through 10 months of treatment with my husband.
Hope the Biospy went ok. Have you had any updates from the dr’s?
Any questions please post as there are lots on here with knowledge.

  • Hi latchbrook, thanks for responding I was beginning to wonder if I had managed to send my first post successfully! During my biopsy yesterday, I saw my gastro consultant who gave me a massive boost be remarking how well I looked compared to when he saw me before Christmas. Today I feel really positive

  • Hi  Chrisid the biopsy was via a endoscope procedure which I think went well, according to the discharge letter, which was difficult to understand inasmuch it was all medical jargon, but I got the gist. Thanks google

No updates yet but I discovered that I am on a 28 pathway, which I was unaware of, or if they had told me before I hadn't taken it in. Can I ask how your husband is now
