After loosing my husband at the age of 45 to this awful diagnosis. I am now diagnosed with the same . My children cannot get their head round it . what is the chance ? I feel for them more than myself having to possibly loose both parents to this .I watched a larger than life character reduce to a mere shadow in a matter of months and don’t want my children to go through this again.. I feel for all these stories of loss and maybe we need to stand together and bring these stories to the hearts of people to make them understand that this cancer needs more attention and exposure .
I am so sorry to hear your news it must feel traumatic for you and your family. You are not alone. My husband has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it is such a difficult diagnosis to come to grips with. My thoughts are with you and your family and you were absolutely right when you said we should stand together and this cancer needs more exposure.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
