Hi everyone,

My Dad got diagnosed a year ago with pancreatic cancer, he had a wipple surgery in September 2022 and chemotherapy for the last 6 months. On the plus side his scans and test are all clear. The chemotherapy has now caused liver damage and was stopped due to making him so sick. We have struggled getting him to eat anything throughout all of this with multiple hospital trips due to malnutrition. Having not been sick all the way through chemo he has now been sick for the last 5 days, has anybody experienced this? His sick is also a very dark colour.

We have had mulitple tests which dont show any new cancer but has anybody got experience or advice on what may be causing this?

  • Hello Bee

I haven't really experienced this. I recommend you make a call to the nurses on Pancreatic Cancer UK Helpline. They are very good and should be able to give you helpful advice.
