Hi, I just wondered whether anyone here might have been diagnosed with pancreatic enzyme insufficiency (PEI) before pancreatic cancer and whether anyone has had a first line relative who was diagnosed before their own diagnosis. I have just been diagnosed with PEI having had done an elastase test and wondered whether there is a link. GP has submitted 2 week request for me. Thanks.

I don't have any experience with PEI to share with you, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list.
I've searched the group for previous posts which mention PEI but drawn a blank I'm afraid. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that no one else has had this, it could just be that they haven't posted about it.
