Hello,
Unfortunately my Dads recent scan shows that the recurrent cancer has gone a bit wild - its now in his lungs, liver, spine, stomach lining, lymph nodes and trachea.
So, as you can imagine, its now a matter of time. In himself, he continues with his stubborn attitude, persevering and not allowing the cancer to define him. Some days are worse than others with energy and what he can do- but the longevity he already has had, is pretty incredible compared with the majority.
So when possible, we will spend time together and enjoy the sunny weather. Make the most of visits and do what we can before things deteriorate further.
Luckily they live close to the sea, so Mum can go for a walk whilst when he can, he joins her on the mobility scooter he has recently bought.
Its the little things, eh?
I'm there this weekend and am looking forward to chilling with them and just spending some quality time. I think he's gunna stick around for a little longer, but we know time is of the essence.
Love and light to you all xx
