Last week my 55yr old brother was diagnosed with Pancreatic and liver cancer. I feel like time is of the essence now as my brother is rapidly declining and skin and bone, eyes are yellow and he’s being sick.
Can you please tell me if there’s a time scale for my brother to actually get all the help he needs and his wife.
My brother is one of these gents who sits patiently and doesn’t want to hassle the NHS with the next step, I fear they have not put him as a priority due to his cancers and his end of life will become worse as he won’t be strong enough to have any kind of surgery. He has been given 3-6 month to live but I’m scared he won’t have this time.
We need support and help if he wants to die at home, if his health rapidly declines and he takes to his bed we won’t have anything put in place to care for him.
It’s also the money worries as both him and his wife are currently off sick. We’ve always been a hardworking family and wouldn’t have a clue what they are entitled to claim.
Can someone please give us the advice, help and guidance we need.
Thank you
i feel for you my wife only lasted 12 weeks and i don't know what to do
i know the hole family are shocked and miss her so much
