Hi everyone just a update I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer In January this year in Spain it gave me no warning 8 o’clock I was ok by 10 I was in hospital in Spain were they told me I had a cancer tumour that was connected to my spleen and was bleeding and that I needed the operation so I and my wife decided that at almost 72 years old to have it which I payed for  i then  came back to the uk to see the consultant here I had my first scan that show no sign of cancer but my blood count was high so I started with chemotherapy I have just finished my last one I had another scan 6 weeks ago that was clear I am just going for another scan in two week then on the 19th sep back to see the consultant if everything is ok he will send for my every few months to keep a check on it that I will be grateful for they tell me I have been very lucky to get the tumour early so what I am trying to say is never give up hope try and stay positive as it’s a long road and especially to all the young ones I see having chemotherapy good luck to you all Alan
