I am past my 5th session of Folfirinox. It was postponed after session 4 for a fortnight due to blood platelets being dangerously low. I had noticed after session 4 that I had 'MALODOUROUS' wind and this was stated on my interview notes with the Dr about whether I could carry on or not. I also occasionally noticed I have 'EGG BREATHE'. None of this is pleasant and curtails activities I can do because of the smell. No wants to be in a car with me when either occurs. Has anyone else had these symptoms? During the 'postponement' of the chemo it disappeared so I think Folfirinox is related to it? If you have had this did you manage to master it and if so, how?
Hi
I don't have any experience with Folfirinox but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post. Hopefully by 'bumping' your post back to the top of the discussion list it'll be more easily seen.
If you don't get any replies you could post your question in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 3 working days.
