Hi all,
First of all, sending strength and courage to everyone going through this awful disease.
I was just 19 years old when I got diagnosed with 1c Ovarian Cancer. I was pregnant with my 2nd son and he reputured a 10cm cancerous ovarian cyst (as much to everyone's surprise).
I underwent a total hysterectomy and chemo and got the all clear the following year.
I am facing very high health anxiety and getting physical symptoms which I am worrying that the cancer has returned. I am currently undergoing tests and need to find out if I have a hormone imbalance.
So I have 2 separate issues going on here, my symptoms which I have been experiencing for over a month: Fatigue, Muscle aches and joint and bone pain/stiffness including chest and breasts, Insomnia, Sensitive stomach/cramps, diahrea and constipation, Sensitive to cold/hot, hair thinning/falling out, Nervousness and irritability, Heart palpations, Wake up in the night almost having a panic attack, Dizziness, Shortness of breath and Low mood. The 2nd issue being my severe health anxiety worrying my symptoms are my Cancer returning.
I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has recovered from Ovarian Cancer and had any similar symptoms to me and been diagnosed with a hormone imbalance? I am currently waiting for exploratory tests but the wait is killing me.
Thanks everyone. Love to all x
Hi. Sorry to hear that you are having to wait for tests to find out what's happening. The waiting seems so long when you are feeling so anxious and worried. I had ovarian cancer the first time 12 years ago unfortunately mine is back with a vengeance. I hope that get your tests done quickly. It's the not knowing that is rh worst. I truly hope it's a hormone imbalance you have and are back to normal very quickly.
Not at all. I had severe bloating of my abdomen and had pain which was pretty bad if I moved too quickly. Like something was bouncing around. Turns out there was 2 big tumors. I had a Hysterectomy and bilateral oompectamy. No Chemo or anything they were sure they had got it all.
