Anyone got any idea what happens next? told got this and its usually secondary to ovarian cancer
I had my Omentum removed when I had a full hysterectomy after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The peritonial lining was removed at the same time - not sure if cancer was detected there or if they thought they should while they were in there. Better safe than sorry, I think...! No problems as such but it was a fair bit of surgery all in one go - took months for my bowels to settle afterwards but all ok in the end. x

YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL AS WHEN THIS IS FOUND YOUR STOMACH HOLDS FLUID .
THIS FLUID CAN INCREASE AND CHECK OUT PLURAL EFFUSION.
HOW I KNOW IS I HAVE THE SAME.
HAVE CHEMO FIRST TO SHRINK ...AND INTO MY LAST CYCLE ON 24TH JUNE.
HAD NO EFFECT UPON ME AT ALL
MEANING IT WAS AS IF ID HAD NOTHING PUMPED INTO ME.
