Hi, I’m nee to this group and just wanted to see what other people think,
I went to my gp last week with a few symptoms eg. Bloating pain on my right side of my pelvic area, constant peeing, change in bowl movements and loss
of weigh and appetite changes, he did a full
blood test and has told me I have slightly high level of CA125, so has arranged for me to have an emergency scan and other tests, he hasn’t said the C word, infact he didn’t really give me much information atall, so I was left to google what CA125 meant, now I’ve ready that I’m so worried, I’m 30
with 1 child and a step child and waiting for a letter with a date for
my emergency scan is making me go out of my mind, my family are all telling me not to think the worst and I will be fine but they don’t understand how scared i am, my mother in law had ovarian cancer and they did a full hysterectomy, is this the only o period of it is cancer? I’m currently saving for ivf as i
really want another child with my partner and both of my tubes are fully blocked
so ivf is my only option, but am worried this will completely stop that it it’s tracks.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
