Hi All,
My mum had radiotherapy treatment for ovarian cancer about 6 weeks ago and has also been out on Letrozole. Although the treatment has helped shrink the cancer which is fantastic she now has legs that 'feel heavy and like wood' and a burning sensation in her ankles and calves. I wondered if this could be either the Letrozole or the radiotherapy and wondered if anyone had experienced similar.
Thanks
Hi Lolly P
I'm sorry to read that your mum is suffering with pain in her legs and ankles and it's natural that you'd want to find out what could be causing it.
You may already have seen this information but, in case you haven't, this is a link to information on Letrozole which includes a list of side effects and this is a link to side effects of radiotherapy. Has your mum reported these symptoms to her CNS as she may be able to offer advice?
x
Hi, thanks for your help and advice. We have mentioned it to the doctor's who don't seem that bothered by it but it's quite debilitating for my mum so we need to get it sorted. I will check out those links thanks x
