I've just had first round of chemo and there is residual left after op but I'm more scared of keeping myself protected from corona for however long than the treatment at this stage. Am I alone in questioning whether postponing further chemo is a viable option? Obviously I will have a discussion about it but is anyone else having the same thoughts?
No, not me Frenchy. I’m far more concerned about being treated for the cancer that I actually have than catching coronavirus. Obviously it is a real worry but I am going to take what sensible precautions I can and get on with my chemo cycles. I have surgery yet to come so I am keen to crack on with it and hopefully keep well.
Best wishes, Nell x
Thanks Neil, I'm new to site so it was lovely to get a response. Think I'd best speak to oncologist and weigh up the options, have the best day you can Deb x
Hi, I agree with Nell. I just want to continue with my treatment (surgery and last two chemo's) than worry about the "what Ifs" of coronavirus. I just take the sensible precautions of not touching surfaces when out and washing hands etc. Best wishes, Jan.
