Hi everyone , my first time posting here . 4 weeks ago I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy for severe endometriosis , during surgery gynaecologist found " multiple polyp like structure on left ovary, normal vasculature and no cyst." Because of this they took left ovary and tube , needles to say I'm a little anxious while I wait for my follow up next week , lots of cancer in family including ovarian , breast and colon. Just wondering have any of you lovely ladies had anything similar ? as I cant find much info on polyps on the ovary .
Sorry this has been so long winded

Hi Rose,
Ive not had your experience, I had womb cancer and had a hysterectomy with ovaries and tubes etc out, my ovaries had lots of cysts on them but they were not cancerous when they tested them.
Keeping busy and distracted whilst you wait for results is the best advice that I have, waiting for results can be torturous. Hopefully you are starting to get back on your feet after your surgery and can get out a bit to enjoy the nice weather. I gave myself something to do every day when I was recovering, whether it was a doctor appointment or meeting a friend for lunch, it helped having plans to make me get up and out.
Lots of love and please let me know how you get on

Hi Rose,
im pretty much back to normal now, I'm nearly two years down the line and all I needed was the hysterectomy, I'm just waiting on a scan and my two year check up in august. The check ups make me anxious, so I need to distract myself too lol, I'm trying to take my own advice!

I'm sure you will be fine , but the waiting is hard . Your own advice is actually very good so I hope you can stick by it even if just most of the time . Glad you are doing well . Thank you so much for your kindness and replying, it's really is appreciated at the moment while I'm stuck in limbo . Lol.
Take care xxxxx
