Hello. I am after some advice. A year ago I had a hysterectomy for adenomyosis but kept the ovaries. I kept my ovaries as the consultant said they looked healthy. In the last year since I have been getting pain particularly in my right ovary area. This has on the whole i think coinsided with ovulation as i get spots and sore breasts to. Last month the pain went on for a week 8 days.
I can also get pain occasionally like an ache when I pass a bowel movement or cough. I have put this down to scarring from a c section and my hysterectomy although never diagnosed.
I went to see my to who referred me to the consultant who carried out my hysterectomy. He gave me an ultrasound tonight. He said my left ovary looks fine but couldn't find my right. He gave me an internal and said that's it's dropped. He said there is some fluid but not too much and it would coinside with ovulation. I have spots and sore breasts at the moment.
He has worried me though as he is requesting a cancer blood test and just cancer not checking anything else. I am worried as my tummy has for many many months looked like i am slightly pregnant. it doesn't feel overly bloated at the moment but still it's not flat and he is talking about fluid. I am scared what if my symptoms that have been put down to other things is ovarian cancer.
