for the past few months I have noticed my stomach starting too look bloated / swollen.....
iv suffered with abdominal pain for over a year but I’m post c section 2 years in March and put it down too that. Dull ache.
recent weeks the bloating is just not right, I can’t fit into my clothes and living in tights and leggings. The pains still there. I’m weeing more often and just feel full after a few mouth fulls of food - this isn’t like me...
thurdsay i visited An out of hours GP at a walk in Center as Iv failed for weeks too get in with my own g.p
that same morning had my routine smear which was unsuccessful due too her not being able too get too my cervix due too something in the way (the nurse took swabs) results should be bsck in 2 weeks
the thurdsay evening app with the dr he didn’t want too carry out another internal examination due too the one in the morning from the smear test, he discussed loads with me and has requested a gynocolgust app at the hospital, full ovarian analysis plus ultra sound due too the swelling & abdominal pain - he’s sent me away with anti biotics and told me too take paracetamol for the pain.
referal should take 4 weeks he advised......
Would anyone recommend that I see my own gp? The bloating is uncomfortable and is progressively worse than it was just 4 days ago. I feel sick but don’t know if that’s just from worry.
im scared waiting another 4 weeks for the referal is just too long, Iv had no internal examination, no bloods take ?
I know my body and I know that something isng right
I’m terrified and feel like the Dr has focused his mind on my showing signs for endometriosis..... I am 30 with 2 young daughters
do you think I need too go back?
i hope this post is Aloud and I don’t mean too sound frantic
advise would be much welcomed
thankyou
Hi,
You sound worried so what I'd suggest is giving your gp a ring and telling them how concerned you are and if they can do anything to speed things along, have the antibiotics and paracetamol been helping your symptoms? You can let them know either way.
At the same time you could contact the appointments line and ask if there are any cancellations that you can access so you get a quicker appointment for your scan.
Im not a medic but if you want to speak to one you can cell the helpline on 0808 808 0000 and ask to speak to a nurse.
let us know how you get on, lots of love

I have tried too see the GP again this morning
they have no apps left & waiting on a dr too call me back.
symptoms if anything have got worse. The swelling is just constant & the pain is there All the time, I can feel it when turning over in the night.
Just waiting on a call back
I have similar symptoms did you ever get to the bottom of this?
Hi.
I had the CA125 blood test at my request, it calms back on the high end of normal, Iv since had a colposcopy and I’m having a pre opp on Monday for a diagnostic laparoscopy.
i seen an amazing dr at the local out of hours who thinks Iv got endometriosis.
If you are concerned please go too the GP no one knows your body better than you do xx
I sat and cried to my GP as I didn’t feel they was listening too me hence going too the out of hours GP he was Amazing
hope you get sorted x
Iv also had an ultra sound and internal ultra sound, Iv had all the tests too rule out a majority of things so just got too wait for the op now x
