I've just completed 18 weeks of #chemotherapy for non-hodgkins #lymphoma. If there is anyone out there just starting out on this and needing a listening ear, then don't feel afraid to ask for my help. I am currently awaiting my scans to see how it has all gone. I've been on a drugs trial too called REMoDL-A. My treatment was at the Headland Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
  • Hi  and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community and good to see you are through your treatment - I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.

I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of Low Grade - NHL Stage 4a so I do appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well.

What exact type of the many NHLs do you have?...... this information will help folks connect better.

Good to see that you have put some information in your profile - these profiles are very helpful as lots of folks join the community but never post so being able to read members stories is a great support.

Always around to help more or just to chat

  • Hi Matti

i will be starting my first Chemo session for non-Hodgkin Lymphoma next week (high grade).  Super nervous, will be having 6 R-Chop treatments followed by two higher dose treatments!

  • Hi , I see it’s your first post so welcome to the group.

It’s natural to feel apprehensive going into chemo but take each day as it comes, trust your hospital team as they will guide you through this.
