Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say thank you to the highlander for helping me with everything and understanding.
I've been given good news, my chemotherapy has worked and it's gone, from a stage 4 too.
My hair is starting to grow back but I'm still unable to eat certain things but I'll get there.
Thank you once again.
This is great news Jac69 At the start of our journeys it all feels so impossible but we just need to trust our clinical teams and in the treatments then…….. months on it’s done.
So happy for you. Now it’s all about navigating this ‘new’ life as it’s not going to be the same as it was before as you will have a completely different take on life and living.
You may find it helpful to make a cuppa and have a look at this great paper After Treatment Finishes - Then What? by Dr Peter Harvey as it highlights the post treatment milestones.
((hugs))
Well done! Patience and perseverance. Life has changed, but we are adaptable creatures and will carry on. I found that my sense of gratitude was heightened throughout the journey. Life takes on new meaning and, as we shall come to see, will often become more meaningful than before.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
