I have just been diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma in the right breast.  It is high grade.  It is very swollen and sore.

I have my appointment at Clatterbridge haemotology next Wednesday.

I feel strong and ready for the challenge.

Anyone got positive stories about their experiences?

Thank you.  I'm new here

  • Hi again, just dropping in past to send some ((hugs))

Do remember when it comes to blood cancers like NHL it can be anywhere in the body but on the whole, reacts basically the same once treatment starts.

You may find it helpful to start your profile as it’s a good way of unpacking as you go - you will see my profile is rather long.

Thank you.  I will.  Today I'm frightened.   It's such a roller coaster ride of emotions and changes from hour to hour.

  • Yes the ‘what if’s?’ are winning the battle between your ears...... you have to control this battle.

Remember that unlike many other cancers, blood cancer is very treatable so don’t let yourself go down rabbit trails. Keep focused on the tasks of getting all the info on Wednesday - I have given you some pointers in your other post.
