I had scan 6 months ago...been clear of NHL for 36 years...scan result said no sighn of lymphoma. All tests clear but lymp nodes in right groin slightly swollen. .doc was going to clear me but I said I want to be kept an eye on so 6 months later had ultra sound on groin said they the same small no more than 5mm..but said he would like to do biopsy with my history. Is this normal. .does nothat want to see me till November .
Any advice is good advice
Well done being clear for 36 years. I think that as you asked for them to keep an eye on you your team are just being carful. Let’s hope this nothing.
Please come back and tell us how things go.
I had a lump appear in my lung 6 months after my second Stem Cell Transplant and was sent fir a CT guided biopsy. After a pre op scan the surgeon came in and said that it was not worth the stress and risk trying to hit it...... have been monitored for the past 4 years with no change
Good news keep going.
That's what doc said to me we can either watch or do biopsy if they think it big enough to get sample..I think he said it was 5mm which from my expirence is small as the one I had in my neck when I was 18 was the size of a ping pong ball..and had spread to my arm pits and chest.I just bit confused cus 6 months ago after scan they where going to discharge me...
Sounds right biopsy is not personally that painful better safe than , you now, Had my CT scan in more of my Lymph nodes Above shoulder bone Between lung 3 Area by gut seems it’s traveling Had only in Aorta last CT not seen Oncologist for year March , due October but expect it be cancelled not really up to going hospital at this time virus spreading 8000 students back my small town freshers week start of scary times , Patio collapsed Builders start removing putting Cement one with railings so I can be safe outside be glad railings will let me have more fresh air , I’m having trouble moving about breathing laboured so railing make me feel lot safer , Hope it’s a quick job .
