Hi all hope everyone is well and dealing well with the current situation with covid.
I just wanted to up date you'll on my condition, I've spoken to my consultant on the 15,as of the covid situation and,I'm pleased to say he is happy with my progress ,which is good but,I've been having a upset stomach for a while while I told him about and,he wasn't over concerned about it but,I'm so I been trying to sort it out with my GP.
I've had tablets at first but they didn't work,so I called again to speak to doctor and,I went up for test's and done samples, I'm now waiting for result's of everything but,I've come to the conclusion that ,it's got something to do with my mum passing on the 13th.
I've not changed anything thing eating or drinking which the doctor has asked and, lot's of other questions it's just annoying not knowing what it is and, also dealing with the pain as it comes and goes but, some times it quite unbearable, so I'm hoping it will be sorted soon.
Any advice or suggestion would be a great help
Thank you in advance

Hi , sorry to hear this and the advice I would have given is exactly what you have done - well done and let’s look for a way forward to be found for you.
During my final chemo for my SCT I was so sick that I developed “a most impressive Hiatus Hernia” but we did nothing about it due to my immune system being so bad..... it’s coming up to 5 years now and it looks as though my body has contained it, no pain just some Lansoprazole am/pm keeps the reflux and stuff under control.
As part of my other life outside the Mac Community I do some bereavement support and so would not be surprised if the death of your mum during very challenging time has something to do with this.
Bereavement brings both emotional and physical pain at times. Have you ever talked this all through with anyone? worth a thought.
Lets look for some solutions to be found - quick.
Stay safe my friend.
Thank you so much Highlander great advice as always, I'm thinking as you've said it's to do with mum's passing that I've got this upset stomach, hopefully it will sort itself out as it's mum's funeral tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping I don't have it then,as it's a concern I've got but, hopefully I will be able to deal with the pain and, focus on mum's funeral tomorrow.
Thanks again

I will be thinking about you all tomorrow.
Do celebrate your mum’s life and she will live on in her family, get out the old photos and have a laugh at some of the states we looked like when we were all younger.
Man ((hugs)) coming down from the Highlands.
Thank you Highlander ,yes we will celebrate mum's life as we've been sorting out the funeral, my younger sister has been dealing with it mostly, as that's her way of dealing with mum's passing and, also she's very good at that sort of stuff.
Just a few minor things to deal with today,as sister came down last night and,her partner is coming down today sometime,so just the little things to sort out and, just get tomorrow out of the way and, then on to other stuff to sort out.
Thank you again Highlander
