Hi,

I'm new to Macmillan and didn't actually know these groups existed until recently. I've never talked to anyone else who has survived or had cancer let alone people who have/ have had the same cancer as me. I'd like to get to know others and hear their stories.

Thank you!

Hello and welcome, I just logged on and saw your message. I have prostate cancer but you will get loads of help and support from people on here who are familiar with your problems.  You will be pleased you have joined up, it has helped me immeasurably.  Best wishes.

  • Hi , good to see you found this group. I had a different type of NHL and treatment journey but as I am now 4 1/2 years post my last treatment so always around to help navigate this part of life.

  • Hi there.

I'm just finishing up 6 months of treatment after being diagnosed in December last year.  I hope my treatment is as successful as yours was.

NHL is one of the most common cancers these days.  I was really surprised to learn that as it doesn't get much publicity.

Thank you so much. So are you, you're fighting everyday at the moment in this harsh time. Good days and bad days are important. You need them to cope with what's going on. My mum has always told me that. Hearts It's good to cry and feel; even if you feel anger and sadness. It's a reminder that you are here. I really hope everything goes okay for you HeartsHearts
