Hi, I have just had a scan for suspected early relapse of high grade non-hodgkins lymphoma. in sternum(transformed from low-grade treated with radiotherapy March last year) finished R-CHOP chemo in December, get results on Tuesday.
I previously had radiotherapy 2020 (tonsils) and 2922 (throat)
Has anyone any idea of possible treatments if this is confirmed? I am 78 and do not want more treatment if only going to give me short time. Would rather have quality than quantity. Struggled with R -CHOP, only just getting over effects 9 months later.

Over my 26 years journey I have relapsed a number of times with my 2 types of T-Cell NHLs (CTCL and PTCL) …… but I have also had as many false alarms where relapse was not identified…. let’s look fir this to be the case for you.
As I have different Lymphoma types and treatment journey I can’t comment on what would be available with regards to treatments but I do know that there are ongoing developments in treatments…… this is a question you need to put to your clinical team and do also highlight your concerns.
