Hi,
I was diagnosed few months ago with SMZL, have had 6 rounds of chemo, which hasn't shrunk the spleen any noticeable amount. Therefore I am having my spleen removed this coming week. Has anyone else had their spleen removed? and if so, how did things go afterwards, i.e. coping with infections etc.
