Hi everyone,
I'm new to this community and wanted to say hello. I received my diagnosis in early July - it was harder than I thought it would be to say to the words 'I have cancer'. I have read lots of positive stories on these pages and also the Lymphoma Action website. I have found good and reliable information helps my mind from wandering and keeps me calm.
No treatment at the moment - just active monitoring and staying positive as I know it could be so much worse for me.
If anybody else has this type of lymphoma or just diagnosed please reach out.
It's comforting to be part of this community. Thank you.
Hi again. Thanks will do. Will be in touch. It’s good to know someone else in the same boat. Just hoping my protein levels have gone down by then.

Hi Cattie. Hope your scan results were good. I’ve been wondering how you got on. Hope you are not too bad. I’m at hospital tomorrow for blood tests etc. I’m feeling ok. Have got small bruise type marks here and there but on the whole now too bad. Take care

Hi Carol
im assuming my scan results were good as I’ve heard nothing. Consultant said he’d ring if anything showed up. I feel fine lymphoma wise, just struggling really badly with migraines. There’s always something. Glad you’re feeling ok, baby steps and all that. Let me know how the bloods are

Will be in touch. Hope migraines improve.

Hi Cathy. Blood results were good. White cells normal. Protein stayed the same but consultant said she didn’t expect treatment to work as quick so overall I’m happy with the way treatment is going. Just need protein to get down further. It was 11.6. Original reading at the start was 38. Hope you’re keeping ok. Take care.
