My cancer is spreading and i dont think chemotherapy is working.
Im needing more help with things as time goes on.
I live by myself.
I don't feel welcome to ask for help from my family.
My mum said she would only help up until she feels like it, and says im ungrateful for asking for more help (although she knows its terminal).
I feel my whole immediate family thinks im ungrateful and selfish because i ask for help,... Ive heard repeatedly "its never enough"...
Am i being unreasonable asking for dedicated help 5 days a month..

I'm sorry to read that you don't think that your chemotherapy is working. Does your oncologist have a plan B?
It sounds like you're finding living on your own very difficult at the moment. The current social distancing, along with the fact that I presume you're in the shielding group because of your recent chemotherapy, doesn't help either.
You might find this information on self-isolation advice during the coronavirus outbreak helpful. You could also get in touch with your local council to see what help is available to you locally.
