Hi everyone,
A few years ago I had a neuroendocrine tumour removed from my stomach and also had to have a bowel resection. I am under the Royal Free hospital in London and I’m regularly scanned to make sure another tumour isn’t present. My question is this, does having this type of tumour in the past weaken the immune system? The reason I ask is I keep reading that people with a low immune system are more likely to suffer should they catch this outbreak of Coronavirus.
Hi
I'm sorry that no one has been able to share any experiences with you after I pointed you in the direction of this group.
I think a good place to ask this question would be in ask a nurse where one of the specialist nurses will respond within 2 working days.

Thanks for the message. I did ask a nurse on Sunday but I haven’t had any response x
Sorry , I should have looked at your recent activity before replying.
However, the good news is that you had a reply from Karla, one of the nurse specialists, on Monday. If you haven't read it yet clicking here will take you straight there.
