Hi everyone. I am currently awaiting the results of an octreotide scan. I was diagosed two weeks ago. I don't have any feelings at the moment. I am not in denial or feel numb. Is this normal? Other people have cried when they heard the news and I comforted them. What's going on?
Hi Shazchaz777
There is no right or wrong way to feel when you've been told you have a cancer diagnosis. How you feel is right for you and you shouldn't feel that there's something wrong with you because you're not in floods of tears. I didn't cry when I was given the news either and you'll find lots of other people in the various different groups who reacted like we did.
