I also have two Net liver tumours and had a liver resection and a microwave ablation in July 2020 and had a follow up CT scan in January 2021.
I have just received the devastating news that I have still got a tumour and it is now 49mm. The last ones had a Ki67 of 18%.
I have been advised that I will now need a pet ct scan to see what the way forward will be for treatment.
Im finding this all very hard to deal with as I have to date no symptoms and if I hadn’t been told I wouldn’t know I had it,
Has anyone had experience?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community although I'm very sorry that you've had to find us.
I didn't have the same type of cancer as you but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies. I've had a look through the group and can see that and have both posted recently about having liver tumours. I'm hoping that by tagging them they will pop on and share their experiences with you.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
