Hi there, I am 57 and was diagnosed since 2019 with myloama. I had all type treatment and gone through all type of side effects, but since 7 months I haven't had any treatment. I'm just going through to some anxiety and also lack of sleep I guess that's it comes down to. I'm keeping up with my normal routine, regular exercise, and going out for walks sometimes. Being in remission do give you hope guys ,so all i could say believe in the system, its a lot of treatment out for anyone who handle it.
Hi Tito and it’s good to hear from you again…… and good to hear that you are keeping active, this is certainly one of the best post treatment medicines.
Hi Tito,
Welcome to the forum. It's great that you are in remission and leading a normal life.
The mental challenge of having myeloma is nontrivial. I likewise keep myself busy with reading, music, exercise and I still work a bit. The exercise helps me mentally as well as physically: although it doesn't get my heart beating so fast (compared to cycling flat out of resistance training), I find that a walk in the countryside can be relaxing and helps my mental health.
