Hi Sparky and welcome to the group. 

Last Autumn a blood test showed raised paraproteins and my GP suspected MGUS.  I was referred to Haemotology for further tests which showed I have simmering myeloma. 

Like you, I posted a message under this group as I couldn’t find another group which fitted and response from another group member really helped me. 

Whilst I’m aware that my diagnosis is not the same as yours, I wondered if I could still be of help?  Please let me know

 I did wonder whether there was a different group but I guess not. 

I am having trouble getting life insurance for a house move and wondered if anyone else either MGUS had experience the same. I have just joined a support group on FB who have been very helpful though.

Just to say that I can't be of any help myself, but Myeloma UK has a forum similar to this one. It has a section specifically on MGUS and smouldering myeloma.
