Hi everyone. Hope you're all feeling OK. I'm Glenda, 51, from Mitcham, Surrey. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with myeloma. Big shock. Had 4 months of chemo which led to 4 months of remission. Then had 12 months of intravenous chemo as I chose not to have a stem cell transplant. I ve been in remission for over a year, off maintenance too. I trusted God instead. My prayers and love to you all x
Hi again Yummy mummy and well done navigating across to the group. I do see that you are connecting with the group peer support is so important.
I help out around our various Blood Cancer groups. I don’t have Myeloma but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a very rare (also incurable) but treatable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (Stage 4 in late 2013) so although my Blood Cancer ‘type’ is rather different I do appreciate the challenges of living with an incurable blood cancer.
I have sent you a friend request so do look out for this.
Always around to chat.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
