Hi, I was diagnosed with multi-myelom in May. I've undergone chemotherapy for the past 3 months initially with severe adverse reactions. These manifested as skin rashes with severe itching,  covering my whole body. I could have scratches all my skin off. This has subsided with a change in my treatments.  I now suffer from insomnia sleeping maybe 2 hrs daily.

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am sorry to see you joining us and hear about the journey you are on.

I am Mike and I help out around our various Blood Cancer groups. I don’t have Myeloma but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of sKIN Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a so although my Blood Cancer ‘type’ is different I do appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well but not the specific treatment you are on...... especially skin problems.

I see that you have been connecting in with sme of the other threads.
