Hi Flojo it's an interesting question.
I don't have Myeloma but was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a very rare type of incurable skin Lymphoma......... it took 14 years before I had to have full on treatment.... I asked this very question a few times and the simple reply was that there are a number of treatments but these need to be used at the optimum time as treatments are not limitless...... go to early you use up the tools quickly leaving less options available in the future.
From my journey they have been spot on........ and even using up my last option back in 2014 to 2015........ years on there are few options been added to the list....... would they have been their if they had treated my back in say 2010?
