I have recently been diagnosed and in shock I know they have good treatments but I’m so scared
Of course you are! You wouldn’t be normal if you wasn’t. My best advise is read everything that you can on the Myeloma UK website -don’t be tempted to Google anything. Your specialist nurse will fast become your best friend once your haematologist has agreed your best course of treatment.
my husband was diagnosed last September and I really thought it was the end for him. It’s far far from it - there are so many new treatments and he’s about to go for SCT as we speak.
Stay strong and positive and most importantly talk about it - don’t bottle it all up. Wishing you all the very best
